CRDAC Reflects on Partnership with Axioma

Axioma is not just a consultant; they have become a trusted extension of our internal team.

Scott Duguid, Chief Executive Officer of CRDAC

Since 2024, Axioma has had the privilege of working alongside the Conklin Resource Development Advisory Committee (CRDAC). The Conklin Resource Development Advisory Committee (CRDAC) serves as the primary planning and advocacy body for the Conklin Métis community, advancing their self-determined priorities and representing their interests in regional development. Axioma is supporting the CRDAC team through monthly funding applications, funder relationship management, and strategic grant planning. This collaboration has been rooted in mutual trust, respect, and a shared commitment to community-led development.

Last month, CRDAC issued a powerful letter of support reflecting on our work together and what it has meant to reduce the administrative burden that often comes with securing external funding.

Building Trust, One Grant at a Time.

For organizations like CRDAC, which serve communities with complex and evolving priorities, time is one of the most valuable resources. Grant writing, while essential, can often take time away from other priorities. Through our partnership, CRDAC has been able to:

  • Redirect internal energy toward strategic priorities;

  • Submit strong, funder-aligned grant proposals without the day-to-day strain;

  • Benefit from responsive, ongoing collaboration tailored to their goals.

Relational, Not Transactional

At Axioma, our goal is to build long-term capacity and relationships; not just deliver applications. We meet each client where they are, aligning our work with their vision and values. As CRDAC noted:

“Their professionalism and responsiveness have enhanced our ability to pursue self-determined projects... Their approach is deeply collaborative, respectful, and rooted in an understanding of our long-term goals”.

Results That Reflect Community Priorities.

Since partnering with CRDAC, Axioma has submitted over 35 grant applications across funding priorities including infrastructure, education, health, cultural programming, and land stewardship. While the funding secured is a tangible outcome, it is the deeper relationship and trust built that we’re most proud of.

Gratitude and Next Steps

We extend heartfelt thanks to CRDAC for this letter of support and the continued opportunity to walk alongside their team. It is an honour to be part of their journey.
